Well, actually no, I would not take a 460 over my engine. Mostly because I love FEs, the 428 is much rarer than a 460, and mine happens to be a 428 Cobra Jet...not much can beat that for bragging rights. You don't see the cobra jet under my sig because when I got it the block was raped of its heads, but all the other internals were intact. This fall I'm milling the heads to cobra jet specifications to have a complete 428CJ at which time I feel it will be appropriate to call it a true cobra jet.
If your knuckles ain't bleeding you did something wrong.

Speakin of smokin em, my little old 360 sure lights up my 33's. 5 bucks of rubber and 10 bucks in gas later and many are in awe of what my old beater can do lol
I was messing with my truck a couple of days ago, and decided to do a burnout with it - I have a modified MKVIII that does them nicely, but I had not tried with the truck much, so couple of days ago, the weather was dry, surface dusty, and on private ground, so I cranked it up, Two 60ft plumes of smoke, and 2 dual tire tracks, for 300 ft. The only reason it stopped was no more room. My monster impressed me. (the reason I went for it, was - new tires needed anyway.)

My tires right now are like slicks. Before I get new rubber I have been putting on the greatest smoke shows. I just sit there with my left foot on the brake (lightly) and romp on the gas. I watch the mph go up and the smoke jetting out of my wheel wells. I guess I could probably sit there spinning em til I run out of gas. But after a while I release my left foot and launch!!!! Cool!
