More stupid mods

I just had to bring back the stupid mod topic by saying I saw a Sport Trac the other day with a wing/spoiler on the back of it. And I don't mean on the cab either. Right on top of the tailgate. Even stupider than the one I saw with a topper on it.

People who say it can't be done should not interrupt the person doing it.

I have never really noticed all of the stupid modifications out there. I was in Florida this past weekend. I saw a tricked out Honda civic racing a tricked out Isuzi on the Florida turnpike just north of Fort Lauderdale. A lot of extra noise but not much different then the rest of us doing the speed limit. 70mph. These cars were having a tough time trying to go a little faster than the rest of us. Go figure.

sounds like my truck lol...........jk............although it does make a lotta extra noise when i get up on it.......300 strait sixes aren't made for speed lol..........and floor it in fifth gear and ur still not going anywhere........but in fourth it's got some getup still left in it. Oh yeah i romped on my truck for the first time tonight........i decided to do a burn out, and it was wet outside......it was a blast, had the potential of being the best burnout id ever seen but i ran outta room and when i began to turn it became difficult to hold onto so i had to let up so i could get away fast (i was in a parking lot at about 11 o'clock)

You can do a burn out in the rain with a cavalier.. C'mon. Try it when its dry. My f150 with the straight six did awesome donuts in second. Just keep the foot on the gas and watch the smoke rise...

Can't do that with a open differential. I get axle wrap from hell.

You guys talking about your burnouts with your little sixs are just too darn cute.

If your knuckles ain't bleeding you did something wrong.

I remember in high school a friend of mine had a Ford Granada, (Granada Gia model). Not much power at all. The car was in need of tires. They were just about bald. We would drive around looking for sand on the side of the road just so he could make the wheels chirp. Lol. One of the best times I ever had. I didn't know what was funnier, the car not being able to do a burnout or the times when the wheels would actually spin and chirp.

Little sixes??? That's what it is when you're uninformed. the 300 has the same bore and stroke as the 400, and has 351C sized ports. Tires too expensive to burn? I'm familiar with that...
If I dump my clutch at over 1500 rpm in low gear, I have a broken HD 1330 series U joint....

Ha! I knew I would ruffle some feathers with that comment And friends, your sixes ARE little compared with what I'm running. Did I mention that my 400+ ponies statement is actually conservative cuz I don't want to sound like a braggert? But hey, truth be told I don't care what you have in there as long as its not a ch@#!y engine.

Well, as it is, my 300 puts 212hp and 317 ft/lbs to the ground(rated @ 126/236 at the crank stock,) and, there's two T03's, a Banks intercooler and a custom EFI system in it's future..... Yes, it is small compared to a 428, but, it has plenty power for my little truck, and, it isn't a Chevy engine...
