Stronger Tranny needed....
Is there a stronger tranny out there from another model vehicle that will bolt to a 1994 4.0L 4X4. I currently have the A4LD and it needs rebuilding so I figured I'd swap it for a better one. Thanks

The A4LD can be made plenty dependable if done right. Put a HUGE cooler on it. make sure all the torrington bearing upgrades have been done and run a synthetic fluid. Mine has 130K on it since upgrades. Put a drain in the pan and change the fluid in the pan every 10K or so and you;ll never have a prob.
