Stabilizer end links will do that. Impossible to advise long-distance, though.

Windstars are famous for clunking front ends. Besides the common problem of sway bar end links that asavage mentioned, I've also seen loose subframe to body bolts, rocks in the springs, worn ball joints, worn tie rod ends etc etc.
Ford also came out with new spring insulators to cure some noise.

I'm taking it in tomorrow to have it checked out. I guess I'll have them check all that's been mentioned thus far, and go from there. With help from you guys and a repair manuel, I've become a somewhat reliable parts-changer, so maybe a diagnosis from a trustworthy mechanic will point me in the right direction. Thanks for the advice.

How much would a set of those spring insulators run?
