Tire sensor Fault

I have a 2004 Eddie bauer expedition and recently swaped my factory ford 17" wheels and tires with a set of ford factory 18" rims and tires... After the swap a tire sensor fault warning comes on will not reset. Any input would be helpful.

This is only a guess, but do you have a tire pressure monitor system? Where these monitors transferred to the new wheel/tire combo?

Thank you for replying- with out knowing how it all works until yesterday It makes alot of sense that the sensors were in the old rim tire combo. Is there a way to disable the the system?

Unless there is something in the owners manual, I think you may be stuck with checking with the dealer.

I took a look at the Expedition owners manual. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the tire pressure monitoting system. Even the fuses are shared with other items. Probably the only thing you can do is go to the dealer and have them program the computer to say you don't have the monitoring system, if possible.
