I never had a shroud to begin with.
There are actualy several different sizes as far as height and width for the shrouds. I found a shroud in a local U pull it, and measured how big of a core I could bolt it too, and then ordered one from the local radiator shop. If you choose to go this route, just look for the biggest radiator that you can find in a bone yard, and get that shroud.
Are there any measurements I can get off of mine that would help you any?

I went ahead and ordered that radiator today from http://www.radiatorworld.com/radiato...ch/search.aspx
I have to give this company credit. Not only was the 24 1/4 X 26 1/4 4 Row only $258, there service was awsome. 20min after ordering it I got a call from them saying that they had a distributor (Modine) right here in town, and I could come pick it up. This thing is huge! Anaway it arrived in great shape and I'm happy....The End.
Deisele,
Your going to be very happy with that radiator. I can run my truck as fast as I want to go down the highway in the hotest part of the day with all my accessories going and my truck never gets hot. I can also sit in traffic as long as I want with no problems. You are definately correct....that thing is huge. Mine sticks up above my radiator support and the bottom of it is about even with the bottom of my bumper.

Did that rad bolt up to the stock rad mounts?
mine is toast in my 77 and Im thinking of this route.
I haven't put it in yet (it's sloooooooowly getting body work and paint) it's the same width as the old one, and this year truck came with this radiator as an option, so it might bolt right up. If not I will just have to drill a couple of holes.

Ya i see that, napa lists this size aswell. Its about 5 inches taller, im wondering where the extra hight is used, on the top or bottom cause I have minumal room on the bottom due to a PTO winch, does anyone know?
also my current shroud fits the whole rad, i imagin if i go with the bigger rad id have some rad not covered by the shroud, i cant see this hurting anything???
Does it get hot enough in Canada to need that radiator? If you went with the 3 core you could save about $100. And depending on what radiator you have now, you might be able to reuse your shroud.
I bought a Modine 5 core over 10 years ago. At that time I took my radiator in and the radiator shop took the old Ford HD radiator apart and put the brackets on the Modine. That way I was able to use the stock shroud, and just bolt the hole thing into the stock brackets. It seems like it cost me around $250.00.
My only problem is the darn thing still runs hot when towing. I have tried 5 different types of thermostats, 3 different water pumps, at least a half a dozen different radiator caps, hoses, etc. I put a modine type engine oil cooler on it. Took the Air Conditioner condenser off and remounted it under the truck. Put the tranny cooler under the truck. Did every thing I could to allow an unrestricted air flow thru the radiator, and tried 3 different types of fans with different fan clutches, flex fans etc. Nothing helps so I just drive it hot. 220K on the motor, I just keep the oil changed, and grin and bear it.
