Tex, thanks for the heads up on how to find the info I have been looking for. There is no sticker but I do have tag ID numbers. The front however does say 3.07 so I hope the rear matches. I am going outside right this minute to check one more time as I would love to know what T/Case I have as well as axle's.
I have been driving Jeeps forever and this truck (That I started out hating) is becoming a obsesion with me. It does have a Borg Warner T/Case and from what I have read, there are only two series. I am going to look for the tag one more time on the door jamb, the rear axle, T/Case and the front axle have the stock tags. My truck is questionable as to if it is a factory 4x4. Lots of indications that it is not. For one, no skid plates at all, is this normal? There is no door tags, I grabed the numbers off the differentials and the T/Case, the rear is a 10 bolt housing and the numbers are S806D, the transfer case numbers are D138 3 1356-23, and the front diff has the numbers of 3.07 E8TA RC and below them are the numbers, 610301-1. I was mistaken on a earlier post when I said it was a 4 speed automatic trans, it is a 3 speed automatic trans. Thanks for all the time you have taken to help me out....Ray
