where is the engine coolant drain plug

where is the engine coolant drain plug
i opened the valve at the bottom of the rad and got about a gallon of coolant out that way. i removed the lower radiator hose from the radiator and got a little more out of there. but i can't find the drain plug on the engine itself. according to my book there are two plugs, one on each side, but to use the driver's side one cuz the other side is blocked by the starter. someone could describe where it is i would greatly appreciate it.
edit: it's a 1990 wth a 302 auto.
