Have a 05 E-350 15pass that I have converted in to a toy hauler. I added air bags to the rear suspension which has worked out awesome for towing and loading up the camping gear. Now it's time for the front. Rather than air bags up front I was thinking about dual blisten shocks. Anyone know if there is a dual shock kit for these vans?
I was thinking the same thing for my E150 this weekend. Looking at the way the newer van susp is, it looks like they are the same as the trucks as far as the shock mounts go.
Wiskey6, Let me know if you find anything out. I am very happy with the rear suspension since I put the Firestone air bags on, but the front seems a little saggy when going over those freeway dips!
I have Dual Bilstein set up at each front corner on my 2003 4x4 E350 van done by QuadVan. You might be able to use the same set up on a stock 2WD van. Call the guys at QuadVan in Portland, OR.
As stated before I have no affliation with them, justy liked the name for my handle here
Would it be possible for you to get a picture of your Duel shock setup??? I would like to see how the lowing and upper mounts were setup... (The lowers mostly.)
