Unusual engine noise
I just purchased an 88 F150 with a 5.0 while i was home from Iraq. the passenger side header is cracked and there is an unusual hissing of air coming from the top of the motor (mostly from the drivers side). Can any one shed some light on what it may be?
I just went back to Iraq and won't be able to tackle the problem till i come home at the end of the year. Just shoot me some suggestions so i can figure out what needs to be done once i leave this godforsaken land.

I kind of have a hissing sound coming out of the top of my motor. I can mostly only hear it right after I turn it off. I've got some kind of leak in my fuel pressure regulator o-ring. Maybe that's your problem?
