'04 Explorer Trans Clunk into Low
I purchased a leftover '04 V-8 new. We now have about 2700 miles on it. I like the vehicle and the trans shifts up great but I noticed a problem on the downshift. When going slow on inclines and the trans shifts down into low, it shifts down with a clunk. I had the fluid additive recall taken care of at around 1500 miles when I got the notice. This trans never had a problem other than this downshifting thing. Anyone had the same occurrence and what is the fix??
