Clunking noise while turning

I recently aquired a cluncking noise under my 1996 Ford F-150, while turning. I took my truck in when I bought it and had the huck rivets replaced as well as the transmission crossmember and all the attaching bushings. A couple of people have suggested that it may be the radius arm bushings. I visually inspected them and they seem to be okay. Could it be the rivets and crossmember again? How can I stop this? How can I fix this? Can I spray it with wd40, or 3in1 oil, or some grease. There isn't ant grease zerks, so how do you lube something like this? Thanks

please e-mail me, because I don't get on this website that often. Thanks again

Clunking noise while turning

>I have a '95 F-150, 4x4, manual transmission with the same symptoms. (Sometimes a creak instead of a clunk, never consistent) I have gone all over, checking the suspension, steering linkage and ball joints with no results. A past posting indicated positive results with installing rubber bushings associated with the transmission cross member support. I am going there next before tackling a change out of the radius arm bushings. Let me know if you get any other leads on the noise.

Old thread I know; I put this here for those who stumble upon this seeking answers.

I am surprised this was not suggested = the description reads like a classic case of a Limited-Slip/Positive Traction rear-end needing a bottle of Limited-Slip Additive; that is, considering whether the truck has Limited-Slip.

I know from personal experience that this can get to sounding like the rear-end is trashed = pour in a bottle of the additive and drive around in numerous tight figure "8"s until the terrible noise subsides.

I've noticed something vaguely similar on mine but it comes from the front passenger side, I think it's the coil spring creaking for lack of a better term in my case. I need to get ambitious and pull the wheels off to do more investigation.

I find in my 02 Dodge the LS will chatter after it get hot driving on the high way come to a full stop and then take off turning a corner.
And because the LS is in the rear that is where you can feel it.

We really dont have enough information on the OP to know when this happens.
Dose it happen stopped and turning the wheel left & right?
or
Moving doing the same left & right?
or
Moving and backing up and hitting the brakes?

But guess we will never know will we

I had a clunking while turning. It turned out to be a bad passenger side tie rod end. I could hear it and feel it in the wheel.
