1959 i6 223
I don't see many posts in here regarding swaps out a 223 - I am still trying to figureout if I want to keep her stock or replace the engine with a V8 maybe a 292 that would have been stock option for 59... Anybody have any ideas thoughts???

Well... If I remember correctly, in the 59, the mounts are situated under the timing cover and the tabs on the bellhousing. I think your swap to the 292 would be straight forward because they use the same mounting systems. I would search out a truck running the 292 and size up it's mounting system, if you don't already have the 292. Of course there are plenty of swap kits available to go with any other motor you desire.
