Hi to all
I have a 2001 f-150 XLT that needs tires badly. The sticker says it takes 255/70r/16, which is on the truck. all of the sites i have checked, wallmart, tire rack, and several others, say it takes 235/70r/16. Any help on this?? I would also like to know how to adjust the back doors on this truck. They are the small doors on the extended cab truck. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.

I've got the stock 235's on my 4x2 truck. Is your's a 4X4, the 4X4's tend to run a taller tire. How do you need to adjust the rear doors? If they are not closing tightly, you can loosen the striker plates on the cab and slide them back a little with block of wood and a hammer.
My truck is just 2 wheel drive. I didn't no if smaller tires would make it shift different. The doors that need adjusted are the 2 little back doors on the extended cab
