My dad has a late build 03 6.0 and it has 38,000 trouble free miles. He loves it! He has a SCT Xcalibrator 2, Banks Monster Exhaust, and Z-Series guages and just traded his 6000 pound travel trailer for a 12,000 pound 5er. He's picking that up today so we will see how well it tows that considering that you couldnt tell the TT was back there going down the road at 70.
wlihntr, nothing about mileage compairison in the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, threads, good information in the sixth thread, again nothing in the seventh or eighth thread, and only one post out of the ninth that was helpful. How about you learn how to search and keep your negitive comments to yourself.
I searched Fuel Mileage, Diesel mileage, V-10 mileage and a few others and got no compainisons for the two (spent an hour doing so).
Thanks Matt, Charlie and WrenchTraveler for the actual comperison/knowlage between the two engines at least somebody read the entire post of this thread.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll stick with the diesel just am a little unsure about the 6.0 as I've read ALOT of posts sayin that it's a troubled engine. Was there this much difficulty with the start of the 6.9 and the 7.3?? Don't remember/havent read that much that says so.
