talk about pressure
i just got guages and have been watching them you know how it goes. well im a F-15E crew chief and i started going to engine run class, talk about having to watch guages. thank goodness all the immportant things you have to watch are on a screen. have to watch rpm's, temp of the motor, oil press, exhaust nozzle percentage, have to know how long you can run the motor in the various stages, kinda reminds me of the egt on our trucks, cant let it get over 1090 degrees celcius. anyway i had a rush today doing all that for the first time in the simulator, friday i get to do the real deal, im gonna be pretty damn nervous trying not to burn up a roughly 50 million dollar jet, but it oughta be fun. well just wanted to share my experience today.
