First of all I want EVERYONE IN ONTARIO THAT READS THIS THREAD TO RESPOND! Even if it is to say "I read the thread and will be back to check on its progress". Or, "I am not interested in a meet". PLEASE: we NEED input from EVERYONE.
Does anyone have any ideas? Where can we meet? What can we do? Even just a get-together at someone's house for a BBQ and talk time. Bring the trucks and chat it up.
I would be willing to open up my house but I am not sure if everyone wants to drive down to DEEP southwestern Ontario. But, if people wanted to we could do that.
I want to put some faces to these names. Don't YOU want to see what the infamous Beast12 looks like? Don't be scared, I won't attack you.
So, any ideas?
-Matt
P.S. Read that top paragraph again. It is very important.
Yup, I read the thread - but don't have a truck yet! I can bring my Mazda car though, it's kind of a Ford, right? Once I get my truck I'll be out to some meets and more active on here...
Ok, I get it . You want a response from everyone? You gotta learn to be more direct with folks and stop beating around the bush!
Like most, I'll come if I can just let us know where and when. Sarnia? It's not the distance, it's just that trucks rust faster in Chemical Valley, something in the air??? (cheap shot at Sarnia from someone who lives in the shadow of the Pickering Nuclear generating station!!)
How about getting together at an existing car show? There's gotta be one just about every weekend somewhere in Ontario. Canadian Street Nationals are in Barrie towards the end of July?
We could meet at the Canadian Truck Nationals In London in July 15th-17th!!! I know I will be there with my truck because I have pre-entered this show.

are you the same tiwing form the toprotege.com site? If so I am the same Sprout from that site
I could fit a dozen or so trucks in my backyard, my neighbors are used to having a lot of Mustangs around my house since I have one of those too and I actually organise a national V6 Dragrace held all over the USA, but I am always fiddling with someones mustang.
The meet in London seems cool if my truck gets a bit better mileage, right now I just rebuilt the carb so hopefully that helps my pig rich condition I had, so far it has but I have not finished tuning it.
London sounds good, close enough to bring my truck without worrying about gas mileage. Although we should probably have a get-together near the show in the evening or so (instead of just trying to run into each other at the show).
Yeah, that's what I am thinking. Maybe meet at the show or if people don't want to go to the show they can meet the rest of us at a restaurant afterwards for supper.
