Ah Leamington, Tomato capital of Ontario, maybe even Canada, the world?!!
I spent a week there one day !
Just kidding, nice town. Good restaurant right down on the water but I can't remember the name of the place.
Back to the get together, how about we give folks the weekend to respond to this post and then set a date/place next week to give everyone a chance to schedule the weekend. Only so many weekends in the summer and they do fill up quick. How does that sound ?
Several minutes east of the truck show on Dundas Street (in London) is an A & W restaurant (I think) next to a Canadian Tire parking lot. Maybe this would be a suitable location for a formal/informal get together on Saturday night? There is a cruise night at this location every Sunday night, so that's why I suggest Saturday.
I think these ideas would work out good. It obviously probably couldn't be a Friday (not much going on that day at the show anyways). I could do either day but Saturday would probably be better.

Thank-you ALL VERY MUCH for responding to this thread! It even made it to TWO pages!
Ok, it is an A & W restaurant next to the Canadian Tire, and if A & W isn't your thing, there is McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and East Side Mario's all within shouting distance.
I thought there would be more feedback on the weekend.....
My personal opinion is that we should set up a get-together for BOTH the London truck nationals in July and the Arthur Ford truck show in August. What do you guys think?
I agree. But, I think we should maybe get the July thing figured out in this thread and maybe make a new thread about the truck show in Arthur. Why don't you go do that right now loudfords? I am tired of seeing my name at the beginning of all the new threads.
Sounds great and I will be at the show in London with my truck, BUT can't make it to the Arthur because I am going to Michigan for the NASCAR race that weekend.
How about I start one thread for the July meet and one for the August meet? I'll do that....
Wow! Someone admitting he's getting tired of himself!
BTW, the mention of biking everywhere reminds of when I was working on a ginseng farm and the one guy had lost his licence permanently for drinking & driving. He would get together with his friends (and get drunk of course, never learn ) and insteading of talking about cars/trucks, they would talk about bicycles!
Gordon, that is exactly why I suggest we have two meets, for people who may not be able to make it on one date/location or the other.

NO PROBLEM.... That is great that there is 2 shows that we can meet up with everyone. The only reason I am going to Michigan this year this will be my last chance to see Mark Martin race in the NEXTEL Cup. Next year I should be able to attend both shows!!!!
