Do I need clutch alignment tool?

Do I need clutch alignment tool?
I had to replace my throw out bearing, but the clutch and pressure plate remained on the trucks. Should they still be lined up or do I need the tool?

maybe this sounds dumb why not change the clutch and pressure plate now while its apart? your six bolts away but back to your question look into the clutch if it is centered in the pressure plate and in line with the pilot bushing in the crankshaft you should be able to put it back together with out an alignment tool if it has moved you need a tool the universals the sell at auto stores work ok I've even used an 1/2 extension and eyeballed it
