Driveshaft questions
Will a drive shaft outta 90's F-150 w/ the ZF-5 work in my t-18 to ZF swap? i got the tranny n t case and i know i need the shafts. i dont want to cut em cause i may need em in the future. i also dont wanna go have new ones made cause im relatively poor. i am going to purchase new universals n at for safety and sanity, but i aint worried bout that. i gotta spen my cash elsewhere... ie tires, books and the upcoming hockey season.

my buddy was sayin somethin bout the universals from the 80 and 90's trucks tend to be different. im quite honestly not sure to believe him or not. from what ive noticed on the two trucks, only the bodies and electronics are different. the hard core stuff is all the same throughout... ie drivetrain. im flustered. im gonna pick up both drive shafts for the 100 bucks. rumor has it, the ZF and M5R2 are the same trannies under different names. thats at least what my buddy said. i really dont thin the swap will be as hard as hes sayin. given im expecting some testyness cause its Ford, but i think itll go well. the T-case is a NP 1356. the 300 has no mods other than no emissions and an exhaust.
