Just bought an '04 Edge Reg. Cab 4x4, Dark Shadow Grey (3.0L Auto) with all the goodies. I am a BIG fan of regular cabs, so when I saw this little Ranger with only 9k miles at a great price, I couldn't pass on it! Man it sure is hard to find 4x4 regular cabs with the complete option array.
Anyway, The only little "annoyance" I've noticed is when starting from a dead stop, it seems to take a second or so to get going. No noise, just like a little studder, then it's on it's way. Is this normal? I have noticed if I do get in the gas a bit more, it's much less noticeable.
With an 04 that has 9k on the clock, I'd schedule a visit at the dealers service department tomorrow morning. We pay good money for that warranty and not having to mess with stuff for 36/36,000 .
