cheap $$ mods
I'm sitting here at work and have spent probably the last two hours searching for the instructions on how to do these mods and cannot find them. All the searching has brought me to questions, answers, comments but I cannot find the thread that gives detailed instruction.
These are the mods I was trying to find information for if anyone could point me in the right direction.
1) kwik airfilter mod
2) 10k or 5.6K mod
3) hotfoot mod

For the Kwik filter mod:
Get a NAPA 6637 air filter and a 3 inch hose clamp, about 38 bucks for the filter.
Remove your air box.
Make a hole in the top of the new filter to fit the filter-minder from the air box. It's just pushed in with a rubber gromett.
Zip tie the little sensor to the brake line or somewhere away from heat and in the air flow.
Remove the hose you took the filter off of, clean it up and heat the filter end with a blow dryer and clamp it down on the new filter. Put it in the spot where you remover the air box, it'll stay put.
There is a thread on the Kwik on the first page, you'll see it.
The other mods are also all over this forum, do a search like this:
Go to Search | Advanced Search | Keywords, and put any words in you are looking for with a + symbol in front of them. Usually you can choose Search Title Only and get the results you want.
Another thing you can do is log in, go to User CP and hit Signature. Add in your mule's info and it will appear just under your join date in every post you make. Go to your Gallery and put in some pics too.
A great source of reference is to click on the user's name, hit Gallery and you can see their pics (if they put any in). Lots of pics of mods.
