body parts from 1987-1991 will fit. I am not sure on the swap. There are 5 different frames for 87-91. 116" wheel base, 133",138",155" and 168". Should you repair it, depends on how much skill you have, if you have access to the tools needed, and how much time you have and how much you have to invest. Bodywork is very time consuming. I am not sure of where you could get flares, someone else may come along with an idea. Or if you end up doing all the bodywork, you could pick up some foam, and cut and form it to make the shape of the flares, and lay up some layers of fiberglass mat and resin and then do some grinding, sanding and bodyfilling and priming on them to get them ready for paint. Its really up to you to decide what you want to invest both time and money, and if you think you can pull it off. Bodywork isn't overly difficult, but takes lots of time and patience to get it right and material costs can add up quickly. Also to much heat buildup welding can warp sheetmetal in a hurry. There are a quite a few places that sell rust repair panels, Browns of two rivers sell them around here, also can check mill supply even jc whitney. I am not sure of who deals mainly with f150s, but someplace like that maybe would carry them too. Might have to do a search for rust repair panels.
fenders will also fit into 87-91? i think i am going to just try to find anothercab to roll onto the frame, i dont have much body experience... i'll have to just save my pennies... thanks for the info, with the frame diff's... will that affect the cab sizes? thanks again...
yes fenders are listed the same for 87-91. I don't know on the cab sizes, but may have different body may have different body mounting points and the length of an extended cab is going to be larger then a standard cab. I don't know the answer to that question for sure, I never tried it.
