my 96's (not so ) quick resto project

so if any of you have been noticing my current posts in the what did you do to your truck today thread. this is what i am up to. it started with my front bumper and brackets being bent(thanks dad!) i had taken them off to repair the bumper and install new brackets. so i got to thinking, why not change rusted out fender and core support with the ones i had painted for her. ok, shouldnt be bad. HAHA! boy was i wrong, back in 05ish i was in a wreck with a girl in an galant, she had hit me left fender to left bumper corner. i got a new bumper and grille out of that one. HOWEVER there was other hidden damage that i am just now finding. the header was cracked, the lh fender has the front lower corner bent in. the floor actually has a crack in it around the lh seat mount! i also found that that wreck snapped the lh front cab mount bolt as well. which also led to the discovery of a water leak in the cab somewhere, great,,,
so heres the teartown pictures and the light progress i have made.
so far the front frame rails have been cleaned, coated with eastwoods rust encapsulator and then painted with gloss black rustoleum. the new core support and rh fender have been fit , the body bushings are the prothane bushing set. so much better than the ford mounts! with the front end being sqaure again, i took of the left fender and replaced the upper left hand door hinge. more to follow,,,,,

FYI, on the ext cab models, it is usually the cab windows that leak and cause the rust at the bottom cab corners.
