Ball Joints

I know this was asked below, but I will try too. I need to replace both ball joints on a Dana 44 IFS. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!

Any special tools needed?

Two or Four wheel drive ? 4wd requires a little more work

Ball Joints

Changing the ball joints in the TTB frontend isn't to bad of a job. It does make it easier if you can rent a tool to push out the old ball joints and install the new ones. Otherwise patience, penetrating oil, jack stands, proper tools are whats needed. I've changed several on the Dana 44 straight axle Fords, and on the Dana 44 TTB heavy duty ( 3/4 ton ) and not had any bad problems.

Ball Joints

I have already torn the axle down to just the knuckle (shaft, spindle, rotor are all off) I just can't seem to knock the ball joints out! What is the tool called that will pull them out?
