D70 DRW/SRW Help!

I have a 1978 SuperCab F350 Trailer Special 2x4. Its got the D70 in it. It is an SRW truck.

Can anyone here tell me if the D70 I have will take dually wheels WITHOUT adapters? (I know I would need them on the front.)

My asking around has netted about 50/50 answers. I need to know for sure. If I can't get the info for sure, then I will have to go find a set of dually wheels somewhere and try them out to see.

Thanks,

The late 70's U-Haul F-350's had Dana 70's and DRW's.

Not sure on the 79-earlier,but on the later trucks the width is different by a couple inches between the srw/drw axles. You might have a clearence problem with the springs/wheels/tires.
