gauge readings

gauge readings

What type of boost and egt readings should I have? I have a new Superchips Programmer set on 110 hp with a magnaflow exhaust system.Thanks

What year truck??? and do you all ready have gauges??? and what are you getting.

stock you should get 1000* and 15-17 psi, SCMT should get 1250* and 22* plus or minus a few pounds of boost. and the pyro too, these are just general area readings.

On the lowest setting I am getting approx. 20 lbs of boost at 1000 degrees.

On the highest setting I am getting over 25 lbs at 11and change degress because I back off.

Sounds pretty good. you can stay on it for a few seconds I wouldnt be affraid to hold 1350-1400* for 15 seconds, see what it maxes out at.

Is your pyro probe mounted pre or post turbo?

my 02 is stock, ecept the wastegate is dissabled... i have gotten 1150 on my pyro... pre turbo... pulling a 10k lb 5ver up some STEEP grades.... and i got 22 psi on my boost guage doing it...! better intake and exhaust will help the egt's.... higher settings on a chip or tuner will hurt..!
