Question Two Barrel Conversion on 300?

Can a 1 barrel carter be converted to a two barrel carb. I have a 77 F-150 that has a 300 with a single barrel carter carb on it and im hoping to swap it for a two barrel carb. Also is there any site's that have these type of manifolds for the 300.

Thank's

I wouldn't pay that much for any of those intakes on either one of those websites. Summit racing has them for $100 less. Or you could get one on ebay .

Cool, is there any real horsepower increase with a this type of conversion cause i kinda have to floor it to reach 65 mph with this old single barrel carter carb.

I got mine from summit racing 2 months ago for $199.00 They're not cheap like that unless they're used.

From what I have heard they help wake the 300 up. While your changing the intake up grade the exhaust with either headers or the EFI exhaust manifolds on 87-96 300's. I bought a pair of them and a walker downpipe. Here's a picture of it.
