I have a circle track arca series car that has to be converted to cast iron exhaust manifolds.
we are running a 351W with the ford racing M-6049-N351 sportsman heads . The problem is we cant get the manifolds to mate to the heads. the heads have bigger ports and use a wide bolt pattern. I pulled a adaptor plate part number from ford racing04 catolog. Went to order the part to day and ford dosent make the adapter kit any more. so does any one know ware i can find this part(i will post part no. later i cant find it )
I would check with your local engine builders.I can't remember any in your area, but the ones I used to use in WI. are Wagner Automotive in Markesan,B & B Racing in Appleton, and Schleipers in Milwaukee. They might have something "laying" around or know someone who does.
I may be able to run the part # on a locator for you also.
Purple55, let me try to connect the dots....
your last name is Holzhausen,
you have car #87,
you know machine shops in Wisconsin,
that means
You must be related to Steve Holzhausen #78
oh yeah, you said run a part # on locator, work at a dealership?
I will either be right or sound pretty stupid, either way it wont be the first time.

Do you think the N351 heads will work ok with the stock manifolds?
What does everyone else run? Besides Chevs
I used to have to run stock manifolds and I used GT40P heads with good success.
well the sportsman series wont allow gt-40 heads. but the sportsman/street stock will allow the svo heads.
its looking like we found a set of svo heads and manifolds.
