Hey gunz, sounds like a nice project! I would look at the lightning truck forums, or maybe someone on FTE has the info on the hot ticket of setting up your existing dual fuel pumps to do the work you need for a S/C application. I believe it is referred to as the dual pump trick. You wire your pumps up with a switch that senses boost and activates the second pump under boost conditions. They say that this set up will provide adequate fuel pressure and volumne for stroked, 12 psi boosted applications and NOS engines. This is probably going to be your best and least expensive solution to the in tank pumps that are installed in the trucks. I have looked into the Mustang pumps and other alternatives for in-tank and there really is not any reliable alternatives to higher fuel demands outside of sumping your tanks and installing a different fuel delivery system, which is big $$.

With the smaller 6 psi blower you always have the Kenne Belle option of the "boost-a-pump", but I havent seen too many folks who are thrilled with that option. Maybe a T-Rex inline with the stocker would work too. Just thought I would throw out those two options in addition to the dual pump, which most seem to be very happy with. Let us know how your project comes along.

Sorry for the super-late reply, I've been working a lot and haven't even seen my ford truck for a while. We bought a rebuilt stock motor, but the mechanic hasn't let us know how it's coming along. Somehow I think my truck has completely given up the ghost, so I've given up the project. I'd settle for just hearing the truck run at this point. My wife said that the truck ran hot, shuttered and died, and blew white smoke on the side of the road. I'm not sure what went wrong exactly, but the mechanic told us to buy a stock motor for now and we did.

Well you can still do quite a bit with a stock rebuild and a blower, so don't give up hope just yet.

I run a dual pump trick on my Intercooled/Vortech'd 94 Lightning. I also run a Walbro 255lph boost activated inline pump (i'm not a big fan of a KB BAP) and 42lb injectors. This fuel system can support about 475rwhp, which is about the limit of a production 5.0 block anyway. The inline pump comes on at 2psi and then the aux tank spools up at about 7psi. I see about 14psi and the fuel pressure remains solid under boost with this fuel system.
As far as intakes go, keep this in mind; if you plan on running a Kenne Bell in the future, then don't spend too much on the intakes because the blower will go in place of your upper intake. When you're ready for the blower, you can just send your stock lower intake to a good machinist and have them extrude hone it.
