i am trying to pice back together the wireing between the trans, transfer case and frame wiring it was all torn off, i alredy fixed the back up light sw, now i am left with wires left on the frame i figued out 1 goes to the 4x4 light, 1 goes to the low range light, do these go to the position sw on the transfer case? is the switch on the transfer case a 2 position type that would be off (2hi) on (4hi) on (4low) that grounds its self? and the last 2 wires go on the sensor next to the speedo cable?

You are correct about the indicator switch just grounding the wire to make the light come on.
I looked at a diagram, and there is a lightblue wire going to the "HI" switch.
A lightblue/black going to the "LOW" switch.
darkgreen/white and a red/lightblue going to the speed sensor. If these wires don't jive, look at the rearend housing and see if you have a sensor back there that matches. If you do, I am not sure what the wires going in beside the speedo cable are.
The back-up lamp switch should have a purple/orange and a black/pink. Purple orange is the hot wire.
