shift points in a C6

shift points in a C6

when my c6 shifts under hard accelleration it shifts about 4800 from second to third can this be changed to a higher point like 5200 or so, how hard would it be to do this thanks it has a shift kit in it now .i have a 429 with a 2500 stall converter in it also thanks

yes u can change this, what u have to do is adjust the vacume regulater on the transmition, its on the passenger side and at the back, if its adjustable u would use a small flat screwdriver inside the vac. hole. cant quite remember what way is what someone will have to help u on that one. if its not adjustable u would have to get an adjustable one. neways hope this helps

Turn the adjusting screw in (clockwise) to make the shifts later and out to make the shifts earlier. If its not adjustable you can change the rod behind the modulator. Longer is later and shorter is earlier.
