Oil Consumption
My 1990 460 is using about a guart of oil every 300 miles or so. Then engine has about 118,000 miles. I hope to buy a new truck in about a year, so I don't want to put any more money into this one. Short of keeping an eye on the oil level is there anything I should really worry about? .

Oil Consumption
Other than keeping an eye on the oil you shouldn't have to worry about anything unless it starts acting up. I once ran an engine for a year that was going through a gallon of oil in 100 miles, other than this little glitch it ran fine and I didn't have any problems.
