Will a 460 oil pan from a econoline work in '81 F150?
I thinking about swapping motors and know I need a rear sump pan. The guy at the junkyard says that a econoline pan would work because it's rear sump, but I've have always thought they were center sump.
Also, they have a 460 complete with that supposed rear sump and c6 tranny with 170 psi across all cyclinders and 45lbs oil pressure for $950. Yet, they also have a C6 with 460 that is spotless on the inside (no intake manifold) but they didnt bother to check it's vitals (psi, lbs) for $450. Which is the better deal guys?
