Anybody use the Ford Racing Parts M-6675-T460 rear sump pan?
I know the Fox body swap pan and the Econoline pan will work, but interested in a little more capacity and baffling.
Can anyone tell me how to determine the type of engine a truck has by viewing the engine?
Not really sure what that has to do with the topic of this thread but, count the valve cover bolts:
2 bolts: 239/256/272/292/312 (produced from 1954 to 1964)
5 bolts: 332/352/360/361/390/391/406/410/427/428 (FE engine)
6 bolts: 221/260/289/302/351W
7 bolts: 429/460
8 bolts: 351C/351M/400

I always forget when I get to a Junkyard or a truck for sale..I get exicted and cant remember..Learn the above info and/or stick it in your wallet....A true must for any old ford freak...
