Does anyone have the measurement from inside door post to center of steering column for a stock setup 48-52 F1 ?
I am in process of locating a 90 Crown Vic column and it looks like I have about 10" from inside door post to center of column and still clear ex manifolds.. I want as close to stock location as possible. Also my mock up has top of steering wheel at about 34" to floor. I am going to use stock bracket to attach column to under dash and modify hanging brake bracket to fit as well.

Mount the column in the original location, then use borgson joints to locate the shaft to the box. Just a thought.

Would anyone have the measurement for what the stock height and positioning of the stock column would be?

Inside of the door post to the center line of the column - 13.5"
Floor to top of steering wheel is 35.5" (vertical height)
Floor where column comes thru to the face of the steering wheel - 32" (toward driver)

Maybe I am missing something, if you are measuring from the door post you have the cab there. There are two holes in the bottom of the dash that held the old bracket in place, they are about 3 inches apart. Did you weld them up or fill them in?
