my 1980 f250 has electrical problems I think. When motor comes up to temp the power cuts out abruptly, then after a breif rest period, will run again for a couple kms then expire again. lead me to think its temperature related. Anyone experience this or know anyone that has experienced this? brand new problem. i've replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, coil and brain box but still no peace ??????

usually if an engine starts and runs fine, but dies after it warms up, only to start and run fine again after a short while, its a bad coil.
also check any ported vacuum switches to make sure they are not creating a big vac leak when they open up.
