Well, I've been working on modding my '88 F-250 (EFI 460, Speed density EEC-IV) and would like to be able to manually adjust the fuel and spark tables to go along with my mods. I would also like to be able to see exactly whats going on with my EFI system, ie, actual numbers coming from various sensors. Am I asking too much or is there any way to do this, I'm not familiar with any programers available for this setup, and I don't really want to go the route of getting a pre-burned chip. Thanks for any info.
Excellent, that was just the type of info I was looking for. Additionally, does anyone know of anyway to interface the EEC through my laptop so I can get 'real-time' readouts of exactly whats going on in there. I'm sure someone makes such an interface becasue I've seen Gale Banks Engineering using such a thing while dyno testing a truck similar to mine. Thanks.
