Hello, I have a 1944 Ford G8T, with a straight 6 engine, and need some parts. I need a fuel pump, windshield wipers, the bracket on the inside of the cab that holds the windshield, and some other items. If anyone knows where to get any of these items, for this neat truck, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks

'44 truck parts should be similar to other 42-47 trucks unless its military, then anything goes. I'd start with Mac's Antique Auto Parts in NY. Perhaps Joblot Automotive in NY might also carry items for that series. I have a 48 so I'm not the best reference on the earlier trucks, however many of the parts are the same.
Windshield bracket, are you referring to the arms that open the windshield? If so, I think you will need to keep your eyes peeled for an old Chevy, Studebaker, or GMC WW2 truck (maybe even a later model 2.5 ton). If the brackets from one of these vehicles aren't exactly the same, you could modify to work. That truck should have the G series engine. Mtflat is correct, any antique Ford jobber may have the engine parts.
Like already mentioned, that fuel pump should be available from most places that stock old Ford parts. I looked a '43 G8T Maintenance Manual I have here, and see no diff between the G8T pump and a civie pump. Since the wipers are mounted above the windshield they are probably a little different than the stock civie truck wipers, all the manual says is that they are manufactured by Trico. I would think that same motor could have been used on other vehicles, so maybe you can cross ref it against other makes.
