Engine: Part suitable for gas truck

I'm looking to complete a set of the below pictured wheels. These are Budd 39880, 18" x 5" (7" old NWRA criteria), and have 5" of offset. The Green Bible lists this size as Ford number 21T 1015, and used on 1.5 ton trucks 1942-1944.

As some members may know I have a library of wheel references, but find only one 1939 record of this exact wheel. There were two others made of similar description, but with slightly less or slightly more offset. I'd have interest in them as well. If you have them please send me their part numbers, stamped into the rim, and I'll look them up.

What I don't want are the 18" wheels supplied on the DRW 1948-1952 F-4s. Those all have widow maker Firestone RH-5° rims.

I know I'm looking for several needles in a haystack, but will pay a reasonable amount if you have them in good rust free condition. Thanks. Stu

Yeah, close but not gonna help. Those are off a Chevy or GMC, hub piloted, with K-H style "AR" three piece outer rims. I don't need tires, there are new traction tread 7.50 x 18s available that I have interest in for my M-Hs. Thx. Stu

Nope, thanks but I have plenty of other sizes. I have a full set of 16s that were unique to F-2 M-Hs, three sets of 17s that were standard on F-3 M-Hs, and a set of tubeless 19.5s. It's the 18" variety I'm after because the M-H parts manual makes mention of their availability. Plus, as mentioned above, there are new 7.50 x 18" traction grip tires now available that make the 18" wheels an attractive alternative. Stu

Still hoping to fill a matching set of Budd 18s. Have added one DRW style to match the two pictured above. Also have added two SRW style as pictured that came from a M-H 6x6 (thanks again Chad). I have also found four that were originally SRW then converted to DRW, but not a clean match to the others. Below is a pic of the SRW Budds, and of the STA 7.50-18" uni-directional traction tires ready to mount once a set is filled. Thx. Stu

Budd rims

Evansville craigslist has a set of 32-34 "big truck" rims. Saw them at frog follies. Unsure of what size that would be. They look similar to your pictures.

I'll look at the CL ad, but doubt they match. Any of the 18" tires will be at least 34", as are the F-4 widow makers with stock 7.00-18" tires, or 35" as are my pictured 7.50-18" STAs. But chasing such things on CL is one of my main preoccupations. So I very much appreciate the lead. Stu

Edit - sorry I misunderstood your post. You meant 1932 to 1934 truck, not diameter. I'll check them out. One of the pictures is of widow makers, so those he keeps. Thx. Stu

I called the CL seller and am going to Evansville to look them over on Friday. All his wheels are 20s, but worth saving. Thanks for the tip. Stu

Great. Evansville frog follies put on a good show again this year. Plenty of old trucks. Although pre 1949.
