idle returns slow
My 91 f150 302 5 speed has developed a problem of when iam driving and and let off the gas to shift the idle fails to drop down untill 2 to 3 secs later. This problem is most notable until the engine is warmmed up , but it occasionally acts up without warning during normal driving. The throttle linkage appears to be free and i recently changed the thermostat so my engine should be warming up properly,even though the temp only gets to the 'O' on the guage Any Ideas?

Common problem ... Remove the Air Bypass Vavle and clean the carbon out of its passages .Good idea to clean the throttle body and butterfly flaps too . Total job is like 30 mins and the idle should be back to normal .
