i did this a few years ago when i was redoing my 85 f 250. i put the hinge in the vise and fought like hell for 20 minutes, but finally got it back in. once, it comes out, its a bitch to put back in. lol
I just replaced the rusted hood springs on my 86 Bronco with spares from my 88. Much easier, as the parts are very cheap from a salvage yard. The 86 hood now works like a new one!!!
that works too lol. it was sunday when i was doing mine and the parts were not available so i fixed mine. its easy enough to do urself if ur not willing to fork out the cash. whichever ones u put in the truck, shott some oil in the springs so you dont get that good 'ol ford squeak everytime u open and close the hood.
