2001 Regular Cab Custom Subwoofer Box

Does anyone know if 2 10" Alpine Type R subwoofer would fit in this box?
the height of the sub is about 8.5 in. long.

the MTX website states: Dimensions: 17" x 48.25" x 10.25"

So they should fit. But they only seem to sell them with the subs. At $400 bucks, that's a rip off. You could get a better built box at a car audio shop for about $150 maybe less. I've heard that these MTX boxes tend to flex. The guys down at the audio forum might have more info.
