by all reports too much will hurt MPG. I use 2 per 10

I have been using 3oz in my '89 F150 and have gained about .9 mpg. Engine seems to run smoother at idle and has a little more power!

Well ive run 3 tanks of acetone mixed fuel(range is from 1 oz to 3 oz per 10 gal) and kept my driving habits the same as before and did not see any improvements in mpg or performance. If you asked me, this acetone myth is BUSTED! I guess like everyone here says, the best way to keep your mpg up is to keep your vehicle tuned up.

I ran 3 oz/10 gal for three tanks of fuel (every other tank) I show almost a 1 mpg increase, no real performance gain, although It seemed to reduce ping in high load conditions. At 5 cents an ounce I don't think its worth the trouble. I'll probably try this again this winter when we switch back to winter blended fuel,to see if it makes any difference.
