Same stroke same bore, basically same HP and TQ...But with that said.. It would be hard to find an Aftermarket head for the FE that will flow as well as the aftermarket 385 series....Some of the EX514 ported haeds I have seen on the flow bench will flow 500cfm on Intake and well over 300++ on the Exhaust side!!
But if you just went part for part....I think they would be very close.....
The name of the game is the Avalibilty of Hi-Po aftermarket parts...
Thats why you see so mant Hotrod Chebby 350's out there...the parts are a dime a dozen...and there's plenty to choose from... JMHO..

The truth is that I went to the Stage III Keith Craft Edelbrock heads because they flowed BETTER than the tunnelport heads that I already had. I'm going from memory because I am logged in from out of town, but I believe my tunnelports flowed at 306/182 max, and the KC heads flowed at 381/259.
A cammer head may be a different issue, I don't know their numbers.
