aiight i have a 94 ford ranger w/ keyless entry but the problem is that it's not FACTORY installed keyless entry, and my remote took a crap, and i already bought a "94" ranger remote and it did not work. and since i cant read the number off of the back of my remote, i was just wondering if there is anyone out there that knows were i could get one of these remotes ( they have 2 buttons, well atleast mine does ) and or if you could get me the number off of the back of your remote. thanks a bunch
also, my alarm goes off randomly, or when somebody unlocks or locks there vehicle. what is causing this? ppl keep complaining to me about it and altho i dont really mind it, it's getting old. thanks a doulbe bunch
If your alarm is going off randomly, you probably got a wiring problem or stuck door switch. Go to a car audio/alarm shop, they usually stock a good selection of replacement remotes and they can check out your alarm while you're there.
it is a ford system i know that much.
im just wondering if it has something to do w/ my battery cable, because i ahve been having alot of troubles w/ my battery cable lately, it is corroded and im fixing it tomrorw, so maybe that is teh cause.
