I was wondering if anyone knew the frequency of the MAP sensor for a 94 F-150 with a 302. The specs I have are 159 Hz at atmospheric pressure and 93 Hz at 25 inHg. My sensor only puts out 73 Hz at atmosperic and 60 Hz at 25 inHg. I don't think the specs I have cover the year model I have. Are these readings low and should I change the sensor or was there a change in the specs for my model and it is good. The sensor reacts fine and has no dead spots or fluctuations through out the entire vacume range. I did have a few hard back fires though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the book "Ford Fuel Injection and Electronic Engine Control" the specs you show are correct for the 1988 thru 1993 model years. They would indicate your MAP sensor is faulty...BUT there could have been a change in 94 since this book went to print in 93 and does not cover the newer years. Deen
