Oh yes, can't forget this one. Never, under ANY circumstances, be the first one to pass out at your stag.

My sister in law's ex husband did this, and he ended up getting his chest shaved. And it made for an itchy honeymoon.

I quit drinking after the night we cleaned out a bar and I drove everyone else home only to get pulled over on my way home myself and invited to stay in that nice little cage with all the unruly types (I think they call it jail). Needless to say, without alcohol, I needed a hobby. Thus the full stable of Fords at my house, my parents house, my girlfriend's parent's house.

I find building trucks makes for an easier life. Not so many explanation sessions with the girlfriend. Plus, when she calls now, I am on my way home not on my way to the second or third bar. AND, I find that I have more money now. Makes for better parts for the trucks.

Then there are the other benefits. When someone near me is offended now, I know whether or not it was me that did it.

Do like I do... buy your alcohol locally and bring it home. Much cheaper than a bar, and no DWI's...

Definitely: $7.50 for a double Jack and Coke, versus $21 for a fifth of Jack and 99 cents for a coke to mix with, and they're much tastier like that, b/c I can fill Jack to within 1/2" of the lip, and put a couple cubes of ice and then a splash of Coke to turn it brown.

Aaaah, those were the days of livin' in a daze. Double Crown, coke for color.

I really don't miss it though. I thought I would but after a year of no booze I tried to have some - yeah, body rejected it. Turns out it likes turning wrenches and fixin' things better.
