Lightbulb Mirrors

I have a 99 F250 with the telescoping mirrors....but are not heated. I saw on ebay a set of heated ones that are exact copies of mine for $85.00. First of all is their any way I can use these and if so, are they wrht $85?

Yes, and yes. All the different style mirrors mount the same, and running the heaters is as simple as wiring them in to a keyed 12v. source.

The connectors may not, and probably won't be the same, but it's still a pretty easy swap.

Cookie88......when you say the connectors may not be the same do you mean electrically or the mounting type connectors where the new units mount onto the door of my existing truck?
THANKS!!!

They mount on the door exactly the same way. The electric connector will probably be different...depends on what year truck the mirrors came off of. The plug on my 03 mirrors was different than the one on my 01 truck....no biggie, just some minor wiring.

Possibly. You would have to take the door panel off and look at the connector. If already have a square 7 wire connector it will be plug and play. Otherwise you would need to run the wires for the lights, signals and heaters.

I don't think heated mirrors were even an option in 99. The plug will almost certainly be different on yours.

Read this thread. Be sure to read the links in that thread too. It has the wire colors, pigtails, and the original write up that I used when I did mine.
