saw it yesterday, remember : "closed course, professional drivers, do not attempt" i find it hard to beleive that you could spring the frame but still be able to open the doors on the cab, good to know if your ever caught between two bulldozers i guess.
Does anyone know what they were tring to prove here? It's just like hanging a truck from a bed bolt. Aside from being a cool ad, what's the point?
Exactly. Who's going to hang their pickup from the bed? Honestly. Besides, I have never seen a box come off of a pickup. I guess they are just making these ads to show people the attention to detail that they put into the F-150. Nothing wrong with cool advertising. All the power to 'em. What I hate is when companies mention other companies in their ads. GM is notorious for this. Like the Sivlerado has more STANDARD hp than Ford or Dodge. Thats all fine and dandy. But what happens to GMs superiority in power when the Ford and Dodge guys upgrade to the 5.4 and 5.7? Just a though.
IMO the best Ford ad was played during the Super Bowl. The one were all those bad --- looking bikers are following a family that's scared stuffless in a car. The bikers pull into a bar where there's about ten Ford trucks in the parking lot. When the bikers see the trucks they get scared. The one says, "I think there's a salad bar down the road". Another say, "I'm not going in there", and they all ride off. I thought this ad was the coolest ad for trucks I'd ever seen, but I haven't seen it since the Super Bowl.
Pretty cool - However with the advent of CG animation, I'm begining to wonder what's real and what's not these days. The fact that the camera cut to a different shot (unnecessarily IMO) when the passengers emerged makes me wonder....
